FALL 2026 Recreational Softball Program

After reading the Fall Baseball/Softball
link, the following applies:

Season Summary

· Practices to start on 07/25, games to start on 08/17. During this time, teams will get a weekday and a weekend each week. Teams will have 7 scheduled practices before games start.
· Once games start, teams will have one practice per week, which may be a weekday or weekend. That day will depend on the coach preference.
· The 7/8YO and younger division will not participate in the county league. Teams will be scheduled for 10 games, two games a week – one weekday* and one Saturday game. If there are an odd number of teams, that will result in one team per week having two weekday games while the remaining teams have one weekday and one Saturday.
· The 9/10YO and 11/13YO division will participate in the county league. There will be one scheduled game a week for eight weeks. The 9/10YOs will play on Thursdays and the 11/13YOs will play on Mondays.
· The 5/6YO division will have one scheduled game a week for eight weeks. Games are planned for Mondays but may vary based on coach preferences. If there are an odd number of teams, that will result in one team per week having two games in one week.

· The last day of games would be 10/08.

When you register.....

· You will have the ability to identify desired head coach, teammate requests and include any other requests you want to add. While we try to meet the requests made, samples we won't be able to make:
     1. Requesting a coach that did not register or is in a different division than you registered your player for.
     2. Requesting teammates that did not register or are in a different division than you registered your player for.
     3. Requests not to have games or practices on a specific day of the week. See our schedule info below.
Note: Some of our head coaches will have more requests to be on their team than they will have roster spots. When that occurs, the head coach has to decide who to place on their roster.
· We will collect a lot of info (neighborhood, school, skill level, etc.) intended to help us place your player.
· When registering your player, there will be a section to volunteer as a coach.

Registration Payment

· Registration and payment only occur through our website.
· Payment may be made by e-check or by credit card.
· If choosing to pay by credit card, a 3.25% processing fee will apply.
· Credit card options are Visa, Master Card and Discover. We do not take American Express.

Registration Fees

Possible fees to participate are as follows:
· The
Division Price varies by division and includes a full player uniform, shirt for up to three coaches, game balls, practice space, field maintenance of the parks, umpire fees (for 7YO & Older) and player supplemental insurance. The division price includes participant trophies to 5/6YOs.
· A $50.00
Non-Brentwood Resident Fee is charged if your player does not reside in the city of Brentwood.
· A $50.00
Non-Williamson County Resident Fee is charged if your player does not reside in Williamson County.
These non-resident fees are transferred to the city of Brentwood Park & Rec Department in August. Click
here for more info. You are welcome to register regardless of where you live.

Divisions We Offer
· The division to register your player for is based on their age on 09/01/26. This applies for the fall 2026 season and the spring 2027 season.
· Our divisions for the fall are as follows: 5/6YOs, 7/8YOs, 9/10YOs and 11/13YOs.

Team Creation
· Teams are formed based on parent requests.
· For the 9/10YO and 11/13YO divisions, no one team can have more than 4 players that played travel softball in the spring for that age division.
· Since we create rosters based on parent requests and some coaches will have more requests than roster spots, you should reach out to a coach if specifically requesting that coach to determine if that coach will have room for your player on their roster. We leave it to the coach to decide when they have more requests than roster spots.
· If more than 4 players want to be kept as a group onto one team, we would urge one of the parents to register as a head coach.
· If a player has no coach or teammate requests or we cannot meet the requests, we will attempt to place a player with players that live around each other.
