FALL 2026 Recreational Baseball Program
After reading the Fall Baseball/Softball link, the following applies:
Season Summary
Note: Please be aware that we provide a full uniform for the season. The size you select are what we provide.
· Practices to start on 07/25, games to start on 08/17. During this time, teams will get a weekday and a weekend each week. Teams will have 7 scheduled practices before games start.
· Once games start, the 6YO and younger divisions will no longer practice, while all other divisions will have weekly practice.
· All divisions will have 10 scheduled regular season games.
· Weekly games each week are primarily one weekday and one Saturday game.
· The 7YO, 8YO, 9YO, 10YO and 11/12YO divisions will have a single elimination end of season tournament from 10/01 to 10/07. All teams will have their last day no later than 10/08.
· There will be no games Labor Day weekend to include 09/04, 09/05, 09/06 and 09/07.
When you register.....
· You will have the ability to identify desired head coach, teammate requests and include any other requests you want to add. While we try to meet the requests made, samples we won't be able to make:
1. Requesting a coach that did not register or is in a different division than you registered your player for.
2. Requesting teammates that did not register or are in a different division than you registered your player for.
3. Requests not to have games or practices on a specific day of the week. See our schedule info below.
Note: Some of our head coaches will have more requests to be on their team than they will have roster spots. When that occurs, the head coach has to decide who to place on their roster.
· We will collect a lot of info (neighborhood, school, skill level, etc.) intended to help us place your player.
· When registering your player, there will be a section to volunteer as a coach.
Registration Payment
· Registration and payment only occur through our website.
· Payment may be made by e-check or by credit card.
· If choosing to pay by credit card, a 3.25% processing fee will apply.
· Credit card options are Visa, Master Card and Discover. We do not take American Express.
Registration Fees
Possible fees to participate are as follows:
· The Division Price varies by division and includes a full player uniform, shirt & cap for up to three coaches, game balls, practice space, field maintenance of the parks, umpire fees (for 7YO & Older) and player supplemental insurance. The division price includes participant trophies to 6YO & younger and a tournament for 7YO to 11/12YO divisions.
· A $50.00 Non-Brentwood Resident Fee is charged if your player does not reside in the city of Brentwood.
· A $50.00 Non-Williamson County Resident Fee is charged if your player does not reside in Williamson County.
The non-resident fees are required to be collected as we are the service provider for the city of Brentwood. The fees are transferred to the city of Brentwood Park & Rec Department in August. Click here for more info. You are welcome to register regardless of where you live.
Divisions We Offer
· The division to register your player for is based on their age on 04/30/27. This applies for the fall 2026 season and the spring 2027 season. In the fall, almost all players won't be their age in the division. For example, the 7YO baseball division will have mostly 6YOs, considered "rising 7YOs".
· Our divisions for the fall are as follows: 3/4YOs, 5YOs, 6YOs (primarily kindergarten), 7YOs (primarily 1st graders), 8YOs (primarily 2nd graders), 9YOs (primarily 3rd graders), 10YOs (primarily 4th graders), 11/12YOs (primarily 5th and 6th graders) and 13/14YOs (primarily 7th and 8th graders).
· A player that is older than the offered age may apply for a grade exemption as long as their birthday to miss the cutoff is no earlier than 01/01/27. For example, a 7YO still in 1st grade can apply for an exemption if their birthday is 01/01/27 or later (i.e. they turn 8 in 2027). If their birthdate turning 7 is prior to 2027, they would not be granted an exemption.
Team Creation
· Teams are formed based on parent requests.
· For the 9YO, 10YO and 11/12YO divisions, no one team can have more than 4 players that played travel baseball in the spring for that age division.
· Since we create rosters based on parent requests and some coaches will have more requests than roster spots, you should reach out to a coach if specifically requesting that coach to determine if that coach will have room for your player on their roster. We leave it to the coach to decide when they have more requests than roster spots.
· If more than 4 players want to be kept as a group onto one team, we would urge one of the parents to register as a head coach.
· If a player has no coach or teammate requests or we cannot meet the requests, we will attempt to place a player with players that live around each other.
Game Details
· The 12YO and younger teams will be scheduled for two games a week – one weekday* and one Saturday game.
* If any division has an odd number of teams, that will result in one team per week having two weekday games while the remaining teams have one weekday and one Saturday.
· Assuming a minimum of four teams, the 13/14YO division is tentatively planned to play their 10 games on: Saturday dates of 08/22, 08/29, 09/12, 09/19, 09/26, 10/03; Wednesday dates of 08/19, 08/26, 09/02, 09/09; and with makeup dates as 09/16, 09/23, 09/30, 10/07
· Games for 6YO and younger stop at time at 60 minutes.
· Games for 7YO and 8YO stop at 6 innings or no new inning starts after 60 minutes, whichever occurs first.
· Games for 9YO, 10YO and 11/12YO stop at 6 innings or no new inning occurs after 85 minutes, whichever occurs first.
· Weekend games for 13/14YO stop at 6 innings or no new inning starts after 105 minutes, whichever occurs first. Weekday games use 90 minutes.
· Because games involve two teams and have many factors to consider – number of teams, head coaches coaching more than one team, head coach requests that may vary per week, field availability, umpire availability, etc. – teams will not play the same day every week. If we have an even number of teams in a division, teams will play each Saturday and one weekday. That weekday may vary.
